To achieve the best results it is important that all surfaces must be sound, clean, suitably dry and free from anything that will interfere with the adhesion of the materials to be applied.
New Surfaces –
- Remove any site debris and sweep floor clean
- Any oil or grease from site plant/works must be removed with an emulsifying de-greaser in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions
- Floor areas to be coated should be acid etched to remove surface laitance, using a proprietary mortar cleaner diluted in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions
- Rinse thoroughly with clean water to remove all residues. Allow to dry
- Prime all areas to be coated with one coat of Crown Trade Fast Drying Concrete Floor Paint
