The Fiskars X28 Splitting Axe and Sharpener Set combines the X28 splitting axe, a blade sharpener and protective sheath in one practical package. The set has been put together for the 2026 Real Deals For You – Get Kitted Out promotion. Providing the essential tools for preparing firewood and maintaining the axe’s cutting edge. Designed for splitting medium-sized logs approximately 20–30cm in diameter.
The X28 features a wide, wedge-shaped blade designed to drive the grain apart efficiently. Rather than simply cutting into the timber, the geometry of the head helps force the log apart along the grain and assists with releasing the axe head after impact.
The lightweight FibreComp™ shaft helps keep the axe manageable during repeated use while providing excellent durability and overstrike protection. A textured SoftGrip™ handle section provides a secure, comfortable grip, while the hooked end of the handle helps prevent the axe from slipping from your hand during use.
The included sharpener makes it easy to maintain the blade’s cutting performance, while the protective sheath helps protect the blade during storage and transport.
