Barrettine Danish Oil 1L is a premium blend of natural oils and resins, designed to enhance and protect wood with a beautiful, low-lustre finish. Ideal for Scandinavian-style furniture, wooden doors, panelling, woodturning, and decorative woodwork, this oil penetrates deep into the grain, providing long-lasting nourishment and protection.
Highly water-repellent, it helps guard against moisture damage, making it particularly effective for non-food preparation kitchen surfaces and non-green oak timbers. While primarily designed for interior use, it can also be used externally in sheltered areas.

How to Apply –
- Preparation – Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from dirt, wax, paint, or varnish. Sand down as needed. Wipe oily woods with white spirit before application.
- Application – Shake the oil well before use. Apply with a brush or lint-free cloth, ensuring even coverage.
- Drying & Finishing – Remove excess oil within 10-15 minutes with a lint-free cloth. Allow 6 hours between coats. For best results, apply multiple thin layers.
Precaution: Cloths used for oiling may spontaneously combust. After use, soak them in soapy water and lay flat outside on a non-combustible surface to dry.
